The Black Dollar Initiative is the nonprofit research and data hub that powers the Black Dollar Index.

The Black Dollar Index (BDI) is a for-profit entity that brings the nonprofit’s research to life, making it accessible, engaging, and culturally relevant.

Both share a mission to empower Black consumers to make informed purchasing decisions, while creating a more equitable relationship between our communities and corporate America.
